In May of 2023, I was accepted into the Spinning Babies® Parent Educator training in Cary, NC. There I learned from incredible midwives, labor & delivery nurses, doulas, and body workers from all over the world. We dove deep into a week-long, comprehensive study of Baby's journey through the pelvis, and what we as birth partners can do to ease the path for both Baby & birther. I have since taught this class both privately in families' homes and in small group settings at Baystate Franklin in Greenfield, MA.
It's such a joy to hear families report back that their third trimester aches and pains felt lighter, that partners had concrete tools to help in labor, and that Baby found a nice position prior to birthing.
This class will explore Baby's journey through the pelvis, examine the ligaments and tissue surrounding the uterus that invite more space for Baby, and brings more comfort and ease throughout the pregnancy and birthing. Partners learn hands-on techniques that help Birthers stay connected, centered, and held throughout their birthing process.
Requirements:
This class is for birthers who are at least 16 weeks along in their pregnancy. Birth partners required to attend.
Spinning Babies® Parent Handbook and exercise props included.
